We reserve one hour for every cleaning. This allows adequate time for a thorough cleaning, any necessary X-rays, lessons in proper home care, and a complete check up with one of the doctors. Any patient with a history of periodontal disease will be carefully monitored for any relapses and treated accordingly. I was Dr. Sidney Markowitz’s patient back in the 1970s, when his office was inside the Columbia Plaza bldg in NW DC. I was online today, looking for a dentist. I was both sad/glad to see that Dr. Sid is now retired. Reviews attest to the fact that the office is still the best; still committed to superb dentistry and care and concern for patients. I’ve neglected my dentistry over the years but the work Dr. Sid performed back in the 70s/80s is still intact. It was very well done right the first time. As he might remember, I’m still a big chicken but trying to get courage to make an appointment. Would love to see or talk to the master dentist, Dr. Sid; looking forward to meeting the new team!
