Cosmetic Dentistry Washington DC
Welcome to Markowitz Dental
In our state-of-the-art Washington D.C. cosmetic dentistry office, our doctors are highly trained to perform smile makeover procedures. By using a combination of the procedures described below, we can transform a smile from the most unattractive to the most beautiful, natural smile possible. Patients come to our office from far distances to take advantage of the experience and artistic expertise offered by both dentists in our practice. The first step in a smile makeover is the examination appointment. Here we listen to the patient describe exactly what they desire, so that we can create a plan to meet those specific desires. We use a variety of diagnostic aids to accomplish the ultimate smile makeover. We take photographs, x-rays and models so that we can communicate clearly with the dental laboratory to create the desired smile.

Dental Implants Washington DC
Dental implants are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel and function like natural teeth. The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything and can smile with confidence, knowing that teeth appear natural and facial contours are preserved. One of the greatest uses is to help anchor traditional dentures. Over time, dentures can get loose due to the shrinkage of the jaws. By utilizing dental implants, we can stabilize the dentures by anchoring them to the jawbone. The results are described most often as amazing!

CEREC Same-Day Crowns Washington DC
Let’s face it, very few of us have perfect teeth, free of decay and fillings. You can probably see a filling or two in your own mouth, which do just that — “fill” a cavity, or hole, in your tooth left from the excavation of decayed tooth structure. CEREC is a method used by thousands of dentists worldwide since 1987 not only to replace these fillings, but also to restore any tooth that is decayed, weakened, broken, etc. to its natural strength and beauty. Better yet, it’s done with all-ceramic materials that are tooth-colored in a single appointment!

Dr Eric and 2 of his favorite patients: Charlie Thomas of The Drifters, and civil rights journalist Simeon Booker. Mr Bookers new book “Shocking the Conscience” is a fascinating read. This great man has seen it all, and his first hand accounts are riveting.
