In our state-of-the-art Washington D.C. cosmetic dentistry office, our doctors are highly trained to perform smile makeover procedures. By using a combination of the procedures described below, we can transform a smile from the most unattractive to the most beautiful, natural smile possible. Patients come to our office from far distances to take advantage of the experience and artistic expertise offered by both dentists in our practice. The first step in a smile makeover is the examination appointment. Here we listen to the patient describe exactly what they desire, so that we can create a plan to meet those specific desires. We use a variety of diagnostic aids to accomplish the ultimate smile makeover. We take photographs, x-rays and models so that we can communicate clearly with the dental laboratory to create the desired smile.

Dental implants are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel and function like natural teeth. The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything and can smile with confidence, knowing that teeth appear natural and facial contours are preserved. One of the greatest uses is to help anchor traditional dentures. Over time, dentures can get loose due to the shrinkage of the jaws. By utilizing dental implants, we can stabilize the dentures by anchoring them to the jawbone. The results are described most often as “amazing!”
